STEP 1: UNDERSTANDING your problem
Clearly determine what the problem is. ( Be as rational and as straightforward as possible)
Example: “ I dont have enough time...”
what is the specific behavior or situation, timing, and circumstance that make it a problem?
Example: “I need to spend more time with my wife and family”

STEP 2: CREATING your solution
Create a list of all the solutions you can think of. ( don’t worry about the quality)
Now investigate your list of solutions and eliminate the ideas that are less desirable and unreasonable. (Be very critical.)
Now put the remaining ideas in order of preference.
Now last evaluate these solutions in terms of their advantages and disadvantages

Step 4: EVALUATING your solution
Examine how effective the solution was.
Declare whether this is the best solution
If the solution could be revised change the solution. If the solution is not the best return to step 2 and select another solution)
Step 4: Solution Appraisal uses... Evaluation. to determine or set the value or amount of. to judge or determine the significance, worth, or quality of.
